Steve Kousen is vice president and global lead for Digital Workspace Services, where he drives the Unisys strategic initiative for “Empowering the Digital Worker”. In this role, he is responsible for the solution and services strategy, development, pursuit and delivery of cloud-based, mobility-enabled digital transformation of workspace and workplace environments, including SaaS office applications and productivity tools such as e-mail, instant messaging, chat, content sharing, unified communications, enterprise mobility, and managed and virtual desktop services. Previously, Steve led a cloud strategy and integration services practice for developing and deploying commercial cloud solutions including Microsoft, Google and Amazon Web Services for our clients worldwide.
Before joining Unisys in 2003, Steve spent four years with KPMG Consulting, leading IT strategy and systems integration, and two years with General Electric Healthcare, leading the Global Systems, Operations and Architecture organization. Prior to that, he spent two years with Booz Allen Hamilton, leading corporate strategy and execution for global messaging and internet services, and with Electronic Data Systems for nine years, leading applications development and systems management services.
Steve holds an M.B.A. degree in management information systems and decision sciences from Loyola University Maryland and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He also holds certifications in project management (PMP-PMI), IT service management (ITIL v.3 Foundations), cloud sales and solutions, and quality process improvement (Six Sigma Black belt).
