31 – How Security Practices Impact Employee Experience Part 1: The Gap

The 2021 Unisys Security Index™ reveals some interesting gaps between what enterprises think is happening and what end users are actually doing to keep their remote and hybrid offices secure. Workers are vocal about their dislike and fear of certain security and monitoring activities that enterprises are using to keep employees working securely and productively. This is the first of a 3-part series that examines the insights revealed by the Unisys Security Index. Guest host, Mark Pesce, creator of The Next Billion Seconds podcast, interviews Leon Sayers of Unisys to better understand the gap that exists between IT and workers relating to security practices.

Keep an eye out for parts 2 and 3 of this series, where Mark analyzes what enterprises can do to overcome these gaps and also takes a look at the future: What are some of the new security technologies, and how will they be used to enable the hybrid office? Please enjoy all three episodes. Read the global Unisys Security Index Report here: unisyssecurityindex.com.
