Maria L. Allen is Vice President and Global Head of Financial Services. In this role, Maria is responsible for building new products and services across all regions, platforms and channels ensuring that solutions and services are delivered in a way that enable our clients to meet their strategic goals and objectives.
With more than 30 years’ experience in business operations, technology and sales, she has worked both in and with large number of financial institutions across diverse geographies. Maria is an award winning, visionary experienced in the development of high performance products, mission critical and technology-enabled business services for complex and compliance driven industries. Impeccable customer focus and professionalism, Maria has led subsidiaries and divisions overseen multimillion-dollar business operations and a client base of Fortune 1000 companies. Throughout her career, she has built a solid reputation for positioning businesses for sustained expansion, successfully managing change and restructuring, improving efficiency, spurring innovation and maintaining a focus and discipline of continuous process and performance improvement.
Earlier in her career, Maria was a Vice President at HP/EDS where she spent 15 years in the global Financial Services business unit giving her early exposure to emerging markets with global assignments. This experience fueled her interest in understanding developmental banking products and in gaining hands-on experience in launching strategic products and businesses in such environments. She is also very interested in the role that new technologies, channels and media play in changing consumer behaviors, particularly in the area of banking products such as mobile payments and in its applications to promote financial inclusion and community empowerment.
Through her three decades of leadership and consulting work in various industry segments, Maria has developed rich executive and management experience in domestic and international business.
