Kurt Gerstner is currently, VP of Application Innovation for Unisys Federal Systems. His responsibilities involve setting up and running the Unisys Application Modernization Center of Excellence (COE) in St Louis. His focus lies in agile mobile development, concentrating on technology trends that lowering the cost of application development and maintenance. His mission is to ensure customers gain long term savings while enjoying the benefits of new technologies.
Kurt has been working with the government sector for the last seven years. His previous roles have given him the opportunity to work with a variety of industries including, financial services and healthcare. Kurt also comes with the experience of working with organizations that develop COTS software. In the past, Kurt has been a core member of part COE groups that focused on disruptive technologies and how they could be leveraged to empower an organization.
