I’m John Almasy, Lead Architect for End-User Outsourcing and Support Services with the CTO office in Unisys. I have over twenty-four years of experience in the Information Technology industry (10 with Unisys) including technology consulting, architecture, service and portfolio development, and program management.
I have experience working in various capacities including Technology consulting, Senior IT Management for a financial organization and government agency, and as a Senior Architect responsible for design/architecture/deployment services for IT outsourcing organizations. I have worked with many large organizations to deliver IT consulting/advisory services, as well as total cost of ownership and business justification advisory services.
I have extensive experience with service development, engineering, architecture, and deployment of integrated system solutions related to various Microsoft back-end technologies, Desktop/End-User Management and Systems Management Infrastructure technologies. My experience includes architecture, integration, and deployment of enterprise management and directory solutions for large projects with complex infrastructures.
I hold various Microsoft technical and professional certifications, have obtained platform/OS certifications, and have delivered classroom training as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
I live in Maryland and enjoy outdoor sports, ice hockey, and spending time with my wife and two children.
