Jan van der Sluis is currently a Senior Solution Manager for Identity & Credentialing, for Unisys Corporation (Based in Schiphol-Rijk, the Netherlands). Subjects of his responsibility are Identity Management (for governments, corporates and citizens) including Identity tokens (smart ID cards, passports, Visas) and the associated processes, security and back-office control mechanisms. It also comprises all the aspects of Physical Security including safety and security.
Previously, Jan led an Identity Management program for a large Unisys banking client, aiming at the convergence of Physical and Logical access and aligning the bank processes with the new identity posture. Later he was appointed to a broader role for Unisys to leverage the company’s global identity portfolio. Jan is now part of the team that executes the Unisys ID strategy, performs risk management and presales activities and manages Identity solutions worldwide (with focus on Europe).
From this, he is also leveraging the solutions on Access control and smart-IDs, in combination with biometrics. He is responsible for client presales, costing, SLA management, partner development, business development and order close preparation in bespoke area of interest.
Prior to joining Unisys, Jan was responsible for several aspects of large scale ID project setups in Europe and the Middle East, including partner selection, technology advisory and embedding in the client’s organization. Jan holds his MsC certificate in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from the Free University in the Netherlands.
