Dr. Glen E. Newton earned his Ph.D. in computer science in 1973 and his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2008. He joined Unisys in 1976 after serving on the Washington State University Computer Science Department faculty. At Unisys, Dr. Newton has contributed to advanced computer architecture and operations management projects and helped define the direction for ClearPath security. His current interests are in the areas of security compliance, access control, intrusion detection, and cryptography.
