Unisys named ‘Rising Star of the Year 2016’ by LogRhythm
After officially announcing our partnership with LogRhythm in July, things are moving from strength to strength. Since the decision to standardise on LogRhythm we have signed our first client in Latin America and have a strong pipeline of organisations looking to take advantage of our combined services.
So, everything is moving in the right direction and to add another positive step to our journey together we were named Rising Star of the Year 2016 at LogRhythm’s Partner Summit held recently in London. This is the second annual LogRhythm Partner Summit in EMEA and a great opportunity for the company to host its network of leading technology vendors, value-added resellers, MSSPs and consulting partners.
Ed Liebig, Vice President for Security Services from Unisys, collects the Rising Star of the Year 2016 award from Harriet Fidler, LogRhythm’s EMEA Channel Marketing Manager, and Debs Dodson, LogRhythm’s Senior Director EMEA Channels & Alliances.
The reason for Unisys gaining such recognition is that so far this year we have we have standardised on LogRhythm globally, with the company’s first worldwide SI Agreement, and put more than 100 people through the company’s training programme, enabling our world class team to develop our Shared Services security platform. In time, all of our managed security clients will reside on this multiple award winning infrastructure, allowing our customers around the world to efficiently identify and eliminate cyber threats before a material breach or service disruption can occur.
In addition to the new platform, Unisys is also integrating LogRhythm technology with the Stealth suite of software-defined security products that provide organisations with the ability to use cryptographic encryption and micro-segmentation to lower costs and risks from cyber threats. The combination of LogRhythm SIEM, security analytics and the power of Stealth micro-segmentation is set to provide organisations with one of the most robust security solutions available today.
Utilising network and host based micro-segmentation an organisation’s attack surface can be significantly reduced via Security Orchestration Automation, so advanced cyber threats can be rapidly detected and responded to. Use cases that customers are currently leveraging include: automatic isolation of unauthorised or new network service communications; sinkhole suspect malicious activity for advanced analysis investigation; and rapid and consistent deployment of new security domains with full real-time auditing and alerting.
In short, our partnership represents the most comprehensive suite of security offerings – from Physical to Logical – and all of it managed by industry leading security experts. Jointly we offer best-in-class products supported by an integrated framework based on the leading Next Gen Security Intelligence Platform from LogRhythm. This provides accelerated time to value, reduced operational risk and lower ongoing costs. All in all this enables our customers to achieve an improved security posture while satisfying an ever growing list of compliance requirements.
