Roberto Tavano is VP of Global Security Sales for Technology, Consulting & Integration Services.
Roberto is an experienced international business professional, his current responsibility being to drive worldwide Enterprise Security Solutions sales for Unisys Technology, Consulting & Integration Services. In the recent past he led the inception and development of Secure Business programmes across continental Europe, positioning Unisys as a major player in the global security space with particular focus on border control and aviation security. In particular, he has masterminded the development of innovative value propositions based on the authentication of passenger identity through biometric enablers, whereby passenger facilitation and enhanced security converge within a comprehensive approach.
Before joining Unisys, he had served as a VP with Capgemini and as a partner with Ernst & Young, leading the e-Business and Supply Chain practices, and before still he was an entrepreneur in the ICT consulting industry in Italy and the UK.
He’s a regular guest speaker at international conferences, sought for interviews by media, and has published several white papers and articles.
Roberto is a Physics graduate of the University of Trieste, Italy.
