John Treadway

I’m John Treadway, Global Director of Cloud Computing Solutions at Unisys. I’m responsible for cloud services and solutions business lines. I also head up the Unisys Cloud Strategy Council.

As more and more people are starting to realize, cloud computing is transforming the way we deliver IT services. It provides increased agility in response to changing business requirements, better aligns IT with business users’ needs and significantly increases the potential for lower costs.

I’m in charge of creating services offerings and solutions that enable Unisys clients to achieve those cloud benefits while reducing the risk and uncertainty associated with new technologies and operating models.

I have more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, especially driving innovation in new and emerging markets.

My experience with cloud computing spans enterprise and mass-market services and technologies. I blog, write and speak frequently at industry events on the impact and ramifications of this new and far-reaching service delivery paradigm.

I joined Unisys in mid-2009 to lead the cloud technology portfolio team, and began concentrating on our cloud professional services business in early 2010.

Prior to joining Unisys, I was an entrepreneur and consultant on enterprise technology marketing and strategy. I was both a user of cloud computing in the companies I founded and a consultant on cloud issues to several venture-backed startups.

Before my stint as an entrepreneur, I led marketing, business development and other functions at companies in the database, development tools and financial technology markets.
